Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Sep 16
Peach nectar, spices and stone on the nose, plus a suggestion of nut oil. Deep and rich in the mouth, with the peach and soft citrus flavors conveying seductive sucrosité. Tightens up nicely on the end, finishing with a rather suave dusting of tannins and noteworthy grip. Nothing heavy about this Batard, but it will require patience.
